Mtv Adria to open in August linking exju cities eachother and them to european ones

Mtv Adria

"What we want to achieve is that if a viewer from Maribor (Slovenia) goes to Novi Sad (Serbia), he will know where the cool places there are to go, where to go dancing. This is to create communication between urban areas, which is something that has been missing in the last ten years. If we want to have progress we need communication, and that's what we'll be all about". (Terens Stade)

Domino Project is just one of the possible ways for "connecting cities" and "share". Other one is what italian massmediologist, Carlo Freccero, calls as the "queen of all etherotopies", ever-changing virtual space, which is always recognisable wherever it's appearing. Mtv.
Starting from next August, people from Bosnia, Slovenia and Croatia (other balkans' countries will be held up to 2006) will have their own Mtv Channel, the so called Mtv Adria.

"The initiative is to enable the creativity from young artists in the audio-visual [media], to create a new platform for the expression of their creativity," Terens Stade, channel's programme director, said. "If that explodes like we'd like it to, the local production could be very soon much more than that."

Let's keep our fingers crossed, then, for East European teens (and citizens) to be every day more and more involved in the "great conversation", exchanging their signs with us, that doing, enriching, fortifiying and renovating our european identity, goal which is the only reason this blog is meant to exist.
